The THOM Collective membership at Thomasville Center for the Arts is constantly growing and changing with the needs of the artist. It offers its creative members a variety of opportunities and challenges that will help them in the development of their artistic careers.
Who are they?
The THOM Collective is an artist program at Thomasville Center for the Arts. It provides a platform for both local and regional artists to grow their potential, while providing collectors, young or experienced, access to original, affordable art. A community of creative professionals, the Collective is made up of visual, culinary, and performing artists. By artists, for artists, the THOM Collective is constantly growing and evolving to suit the needs of its constituents. Annual dues are just $35.
What do they do?
The THOM Collective provides a network of creatives with a variety of resources to help them in the development of their artistic careers. Featuring an annual exhibition, online directory, teaching and residency opportunities, artistic challenges, individual portfolio critiques, headshot days, and a number of other professional development events, THOM Collective emphasizes the importance of member collaboration; encouraged to help strengthen the quality of the group.
How can I exhibit my work?
THOM Collective offers an annual exhibition for members. This year, the exhibition will be held in our Main Gallery at 600 E. Washington Street in late Spring. The exhibition is free and open to the public. If you are an artist, it’s never too late to join!
